Anglicans and Lutherans Join to Parade Together

Attached below is a letter regarding the 2022 Winnipeg Pride Parade from the Rt Revd Geoff Woodcroft, Bishop of Rupert's Land, and the Rev. Jason Zinko, Bishop of the MNO Synod of the ELCIC. From the letter:

At its heart, the mission of Pride Winnipeg reflects core beliefs of our ministry as disciples – to ensure that all people can live their lives without fear or oppression for being themselves.

Anglicans and Lutherans are joining together on the morning of 5 June to make a "walking float" in the Winnipeg Pride Parade, representing our communities and supporting the mission noted above. The bishops have extended the invitation to all who wish to participate in this ministry.
