Volunteers Needed for Refugee Ministry
Morning Star Refugee Support Group is excitedly getting ready to welcome the first families that we have been sponsoring over the last few years! This is a huge step for these people, our siblings, fleeing war and persecution in their home countries, looking to build a safer, more stable life in Canada. It also takes the work of a whole community to help folks settle in a new country successfully.
With this excitement and these new beginnings also comes the need for more help. The Morning Star Refugee Support Group needs volunteers to join the committee to assist with planning and coordinating our assistance in the settlement process.
